Microscope is very pleased to present a conversation (online) with New York-based artist Rachel Rosheger about her current solo exhibition at the gallery “Gone Before You Get There,” which runs through June 12th.
The discussion will start promptly at 7pm ET and will be viewable on this page. A Q&A with the audience will follow via live chat.
Rosheger will discuss her new LED sculptures, silver point drawings, and patinated 3D printed objects, which are concerned with weather and storm systems, electrical power, and the decision to establish a wired, commercial model of electrical supply rather than the wireless, free, electric world envisioned by Nikola Tesla, as well as how they relate to her wider artistic practice.
More information about Rosheger and her solo exhibit “Gone Before You Get There” is available here. The exhibition is the first since our move last month to 525 West 29th Street near the High Line in Chelsea.
