Microscope is very pleased to present an artist talk with Rachel Phillips in connection with her current solo exhibition at the gallery “Scrambled,” which closes on Saturday December 3rd. She will be joined in conversation by artist Carol Saft to discuss her new paintings, drawings and clay sculptures on view within the context of her wider art practice.

Rachel Phillips and Carol Saft have known each other for over twenty years. They first met at the Vermont Studio Center in 1996. Years later, they met again in NYC, both pursuing their art. At the time, Phillips was also a part of the artist-run gallery “The Parlour Bushwick,” which in 2018 exhibited three videos by Carol Saft about her brother Todd.

The event, which takes place both in person & online, will be live streamed on this page on Sunday December 4th at 2pm.
